Product testing

All Englefield kitchen & basin mixers sold in New Zealand are independently tested, Watermark certified, and comply with the following standards:

  • AS/NZS 3718-2005 Water supply - Tapware 
  • AS/NZS 4020-2018 Testing of products for use in contact with drinking water 
  • AS 2345-2006 Dezincification resistance of copper alloys 
  • AS/NZS 3499-2006 Water supply - Flexible hose assemblies 
  • AS/NZS 6400-2016 Water efficient products - Rating and labelling 
  • AS/NZS 4020-2018 is of particular interest as it specifies a maximum allowable lead concentration of 10 µg/L.
